What makes Bee Lunar skincare different?

We create small-batch skincare using beeswax, high-quality oils, and nourishing butters; not fillers, parabens, or junk ingredients. Every product is intentionally formulated to be effective, simple, and clean. I learned a long time ago to make anhydrous formulas, but the real knowledge is learning how to make STABLE products.

Why beeswax?

Beeswax is one of the most versatile ingredients. From its nourishing and protecting benefits, it acts as a foundation for many of my formulas. Beeswax forms a breathable protective barrier that seals in moisture without clogging pores but also helps the structure of the product. It’s naturally antibacterial and soothing, making it ideal for dry or irritated skin. Its also packed with Vitamin A, which is the derivative of Retinyl Palmitate - AKA Retinol(common name).

Are your products natural and clean?

Natural is a buzzword. I much prefer the word clean. Some preservatives (which are absolutely necessary in clean skincare), are not all that natural. But they are necessary and is backed by chemistry and biology. We love exploring the possibilities and benefits of all oils and butters and all ingredients are sustainably sourced and offered by reputable companies.

Do you use essential oils or fragrance oils?

Both! I like the freedom! 

  • Our essential oils are pure and carefully selected for skin benefits, typically using the NOW brand.

  • Our fragrance oils are sourced from a reputable supplier and are paraben-free, phthalate-free, and toxin-free, meeting strict safety standards.

We never use cheap synthetic fragrances from unknown sources without SDS and IFRA documents. 

Are your products safe for sensitive skin?

Our products are formulated to be gentle and moisturizing. Many customers with eczema, psoriasis, and sensitive skin use them successfully.
However, because everyone’s skin is unique, we recommend a patch test first. 

Do your products contain water or preservatives?

A lot of our products are oil and beeswax based and do not require preservatives because they do not contain water. Whenever we create something water-based, we use safe, skin-friendly, but also effective, necessary preservatives that help protect from growth of mold, mildew and bacteria.

Are your products cruelty-free?

We never test on animals. Our beeswax is sourced responsibly from suppliers who value sustainability and bee health.

What is the shelf life of your products?

Typically 12–18 months especially when kept in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Can I use your products on children?

Many parents use our products on their children. Always review the ingredient list and check with a pediatrician if you have any concerns.

Do you ship orders?

Yes, we ship nationwide. You can order directly from our website.

Can I shop in person?

Absolutely.

Do you accept returns?

Due to the nature of skincare products, returns are not accepted. However, customer happiness is our priority, if something isn’t right, reach out and we’ll take care of you.

Can I try products before buying?

Yes, in-store we offer samples so you can test products on your skin before purchasing.

Wednesdays are double punch days!

When you shop in store, and purchase a minimum of $15 on Bee Lunar products, you receive a punch on a loyalty card. Wednesdays are always double punch days and at the end of the loyalty card, you receive 20% off your purchase of Bee Lunar products.
