What are salves? 

Salves are semi-solid, ointment-like products used to soothe, protect, and heal the skin. They are typically made from natural oils, waxes (like beeswax), and infused herbs or essential oils. Unlike creams or lotions, salves do not contain water, which gives them a thicker, balm-like consistency and a longer shelf life.

Common uses for salves include:

Soothing dry, chapped, or irritated skin, promoting healing of minor cuts, scrapes, or burns, soothing itchy, dry skin, easing skin conditions like eczema or psoriasis.
